sports
collides with his insider's perspective to produce a unique take
on
Northwest sports.
Spending the past decade working on various radio broadcast for the Seattle SuperSonics, Seattle Storm, University of Washington Huskies, Washington State Cougars and The Evergreen State College, Gary has honed his skills and made valuable local contacts.

Matt Zarter
Matt brings the
voice of the
common man to Sports Tangle. His extensive
sports
background comes from the incredible amount of time spent in bars
talking
sports, and the only sports related project he's worked on is
collecting
miniature football helmets while at the all you can eat buffet at
Godfathers
Pizza. Want to know what your average sports fanatic thinks? Tune in
and hear
Matt's opinions on subjects like Cougar sports, Hawks, M's, Sonics, and
ding
dong consumption every Monday night from 8 to 9.
Bryan Bacon
Bryan Bacon wasn't
born so much as he fell out. Since that fateful day 30 years he has
dedicated himself to the world of sports, especially the Huskies.
Bacon, pictured left in stocking cap, has been attending Husky football
games since he was 4 years old and feels confident he can hold his own
in the "SportsTangle" world with 3 Cougs as co-hosts. Bacon has been in
the radio industry for almost 15 years covering everything from local
high school football games, Husky baseball to the Sonics and Mariners.
Bacon has also been the PA Announcer for the U-Dub women's volleyball
and softball teams for the past 3 seasons. Bacon is an Eastern
Washington graduate but only because the U-Dub wouldn't accept his 4.0
and valedictorian status out of high school. He enjoys playing golf and
the drums, live music and of course attending both home and away Husky
games. His favorite athletes of all time are Tim Caviezel and Chico
Frailey. GO DAWGS!!!
Brian Abker
Never short on
opinions nor shy of expressing them, Abker's enthusiasm for sports is
boundless. He has been covering local sports for nearly a decade. He's
done everything from being a college football radio color analyst to
national reporting for ESPN, Fox Sports Radio and Sirus Sattelite
Radio. Brian has interviewed hundreds of the nations most notable
athletes and coaches. He is a WSU alum and has been coaching and
working with youth at the Bellevue Boys' and Girls' Club for over 20
years. Abker's favorite athlete is Walter Payton.
